An unexpected commission of a D&D character a party wanted to gift to one of their members. I got sent a pdf by the player who owns this character with written descriptions and reference photos (none of the character itself but of other characters and props that inspired the look). It took a while to find the final pose, since I wanted it to be dynamic but also grounded and strong, but once that appeared the rest of the illustration was very fun to work on. Did a black and white study of the light and values before working with the muted colour palette. Still need to polish my technique but I’m happy to see the evolution of my posing and overall process.
